S=O Ambitransitive Verbs

Ambitransitive verbs can be either transitive or intransitive. With S=O ambitransitive verbs, the subject of the intransitive is the object of the transitive. Verbs inflect for tense and evidentiality.

to rise, to raise.

to wash (with water).

to follow, to come after, to go after.

Derivation: derived from idi 'other' and no 'come'.

nolo

to become more so, to increase. This verb can take a predicate adjective as its object.
