The time when I was sick, I was very sick, I was like dying, and I lay down under the moon, and I dreamed.
I am dreaming, I am on the mat, I am laying down, and then several wind spirits come to me and drag me to a dry wash.
They were playing with several dry wash spirits, who make water yonder so you can see it there, who take it away before you can go there, and who make twisty dust devils up and up.
They drag me through many stones and pointed thorns. I am hit around on my body all over, and I feel all kinds of pain, and I really feel very bad. So I say, “Stop! Don’t do this! Be good to me!" But the spirits do not listen to me.
Then I see my great-uncle, who was my grandmother’s uncle, he comes in order that he helps me. He grabs the wind spirits and stops them playing with me. He says, “This person is my daughter. Stop hitting her around! Be good to her!” Then the spirits stop hitting me around.
He says, “Take my daughter to the holy pool.” They take me to the pool and they wash away all the various pains from all over my body. Then the spirits go from there in order that they can play with someone (else).
My great-uncle puts me on the path and sends me back to our home. Then I go home, and I lay down on the mat, and I wake up.
After these events, I began to be not sick.
